Waterborn, a mare led stud, founded in 2005

after Kyra had grown out of her 12.2HH JC pony, Sharron.

After a year or so jumping on the BSJA circuit,

we realised our ambition to breed the ultimate Sports Pony

and discovered the Sports Pony Studbook Society (SPSS).

Sharron (BSJA Flying Promise)

was graded into the Head Studbook

with a score of 80.4%.

The SPSS exists to identify those ponies, irrespective of type or breeding, who offer true sporting talent and will provide the UK with top class Dressage, Event and Showjumping stock capable of competing successfully with our ‘ever improving’ competitors from other countries.
